The clasp shown in the photo is called "Cassonetto Clasp" or "Cassette Clasp" and is usually mounted on important tennis -type gold bracelets. It is considered a very secure clasp because it has two additional lateral safety devices.

However, by using it repeatedly over time, also considering that gold is a very soft material, the terminal tab of the closure that is inserted into the box tends to crush on itself and therefore no longer performs its locking function.

You can see a photo of the pinched tab in the image below:

However, it is possible to solve this small inconvenience even from your home, using a simple small screwdriver with a slotted blade.

As shown in the photo below, lever the middle of the tab, in order to lift it slightly, and therefore allow it to exercise the locking function inside the cassette again.

ATTENTION We advise you to lift the tab little by little and try to insert it into the cassette after each small adjustment. Until you hear a small click and it remains firmly tightened to the terminal box.

Also check that the two side safety devices are well tightened. If they are loose when attaching them, we recommend that you adjust them using tweezers with thin tips, applying minimal pressure and trying to attach them from time to time, until they are well tightened, as shown in the photo below.
