How to untie a twisted necklace

Unfortunately this is a problem that often happens to everyone! Even if you always carefully arrange your necklaces in the box, punctually and coincidentally when you are in a hurry, when you go to pick them up to wear them, you always find the necklaces all twisted up in a nice tangle.

What to do at that point?

In our experience, the best solution is to get two tweezers with thin tips (see photo above), find a smooth surface with good light and if you don't have tweezers you can also use pins, but the most effective and fastest solution is with tweezers, so you can hold the chain still and pull it as you wish.

At this point, place the chains on the surface without holding them dangling in your hand, as this would make the situation worse, so using the tweezers, begin to gently separate the chains and begin unrolling one necklace at a time.

If the necklaces are attached to the carabiner, unhook them and start untying them starting from the end.

If the knot is particularly large and dense, you can try the "plate" method. Proceed as follows: fill a shallow dish with water, immerse the tangle in the water and try to gently loosen the knot with the tweezers.

If you have thought about using oil, we absolutely advise against it, because it could penetrate inside the links of the necklace and cause unwanted effects when you wear it, also because it is difficult to clean.

Finally, we advise you to store the necklaces in their original packaging separately and keep them together because keeping them open makes it easier for them to twist.
